i can't believe you made it through a whole day. we arrived before the sunrise - but I had to get out of there when the buses started dumping people off at 10.30am. It went from magic to Disneyland.

(not that I don't like Disneyland - but you want your disney experience in Anaheim. not in the middle of peru)

Terrence,

I hear ya!

When the busses rolled up it was an endless stream of clean, fed, and bright smiley people fresh from Cuzco. They totally filled the place until about 3:00, after that it was practically empty. We just sat around, had some food, chased the Llamas...What I will never understand is all of the brand new gear they were rocking for what Im guessing is a week or so of a light tour of Peru. Brand new boots, new zip off pants, new high tech travel shirts with vents and what not...a pair of brand new extendable german walking poles...
