Sailing, near death experiences, and beauty.

So, I have not posted in awhile. Megan got waaaay behind in her blog, and I'm waiting for her to catch up. My next post will be from our sailing adventure from Panama to Colombia, which was a wild time. I wanted to link to her post about this because she will convey the roller coaster of emotions, good times, and fear that we experienced so much better than I could. So once she gets back up to speed, and she is working like mad to do this, I will start to post again. It should be very soon, like a day or two.

Is anybody even looking at this thing? Let me know who is out there, Im curious.

I'm looking ever so hesitantly, because I don't like reading about your bad moments. My nightmare/ premonition about your voyage was enough fear for a lifetime. Your blogs are like reading a good book...can't put it down.

I, too, am in constant fear for your life. I wake up in cold sweats, crying out your names, and Gina says, "Brad! Brad! What is the matter?!" And I reply, "Oh, nothing! Just that my baby boy is out there consorting with drug dealers and terrorists with no one to protect him but his well meaning, but admittedly anemic and narcoleptic girlfriend!" I count the moments till you return, throats unslit and intact!

Harriet Tubman suffered from narcolepsy, so I'm in good company.
Wretched sailboat posts are coming in about ten minutes.

Mom and Dad, you have always been watching, always.

Mary, you are my favorite stalker.

Brad, you will always be my birthday boy.

DAVE!, i miss you buddy. There are casinos all over the place. They seem to be everywhere we go. There are like 2 seedy casinos within 50 ft of our hotel here in Medellin. There is also a whorehouse adjacent to our hotel. Amboy represent.

Benny, looking forward Thailand? I miss you too. Ya know, Medellin is where Jorge´s familia is from. This is a really nice city.

I keep checking in. Your pictures are like a little preview of Megan's reports. Not to mention very good pictures on their own.

How are you archiving them on the road?

Hey Paxton,

We have a powerbook with a 100gb hardrive. We also have a DVD burner, so every month or so I burn two identical sets of DVD´s and send them home in the post. Between burning, I backup images on my iPod. So far so good!
