Kids in Livingston, Guatemala.

I loved Livingston. Good relaxed people. Even the touts were cool and laid back. Soo much culture, Latino and Garifuna. I was watching this Italian tourist run around in a hurry and our Garifuna friend Polo told him "relax man, this is the Caribbean! You are moving way too fast".

HI Michael,

I have been looking at your blog every week...great stuff! I also just saw your post on lightstalkers asking for opinions on whether to take digital or film gear on your trip. Am curious to know what you finally took along,..?

yo sid,

greetings from La Palma, El Salvador.

For the first 6 months I was using a Canon 20d and an Olympus Point and shoot. I also had a Leica and about 25 rolls of Tri-X, which I barley used. I also barely used the Olympus. So when I ran home for my sisters graduation, i switched up my gear. Now im all digital. Canon 20d, 5d and 3 lenses. I left all of the other stuff at home. Now the bag is lighter, and Im using everything with regularity.

Thanks for checking out the blog.
