Hey Michael. don't worry about taking pics in Guatemala. Get your camera to your eye.....Chichi is one photographers paradise (as is all Guatemala) Ask permssion. If they say yes you have a great pic. If not move on. Guatemalans are friendly if you get to know them.
Mike: I just looked at my little Kodak photos of Chichicastenango and Lake Atitlan from 1967, and NOTHING has changed -- same people, same clothing patterns (quetzals unite!) -- Pretty colorful, huh?
