Hi Mike,Megan, Your dad has been forewarding your photos and writings to me since you guys were in Biloxi and Gulfport. In the late sixtie's I was in Biloxi
the evening that Camiel, made land fall, Camiel was considered to have been the 'mother' of all hurricanes before Katrina! I was site seeing in in this area, while I was in Hattisburg Miss at Camp Shelby National Guard training camp for our annual two week training.
Needles to say I promptly returned to Hattisburg and rode the storm out in the old Army buildings! We had sustained winds of 135 MPH, the Biloxi Sea Bee station reported 200 mph
winds until the facility was torn down. Your pictures brought back many memories, you must be using a high res camra they show a lot of detail.

I hope you guys have a good experience, just watch your back if you go into South America.
