The things you see and the people you meet.

While at a rest stop/gas station in South Jersey we saw this dude with a horse for a dog. He claimed the horsedog was friendly then while petting him he tried to bite my hand off. He said "I ain't never seen him do that before...". Perhaps he sensed the evil lurking inside of me.

Megan took this picture while on I-95 south. The kids were doing the honk the horn motion at us since we were driving a big U-Haul truck. I honked like crazy for them. Good luck with life, kids.

One of the things I will miss the most...

The New York City subway is amazing. Sometimes I hate it with burning passion, but for the most part I love it. I wonder if all of the maniacs that hang out around the 103rd St. 6 stop will remember me when I come back next year?

Preparing to go

My little sister agreed to take care of our cat Max while we are on the road. I rented a Cadillac, drugged the cat, and drove south to Virginia. I hit a pretty nasty storm somewhere in the mountains on I-81 south. After dropping Max off, I headed back to NYC to finish packing up the apartment.
