Chess Supernationals!

The Supernationals III Chess Championship brings together over 5,000 kids to compete in the largest scholastic chess tournament in history. It was held at the largest non-casino hotel in the U.S., the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. 5,230 kids entered the competition from 1,300 schools in 48 states representing over 600 cities and played lined up side by side in a series of rooms as big as airplane hangars.
